PowerOptimal, established in 2014, is a leader in simple, sustainable energy solutions whose proven South African demand-management technology has delivered over a decade of performance in water heating and energy efficiency.
Rather than a conventional product integration, the partnership aligns PowerOptimal’s “Reimagine” energy framework with Citra’s “Live Different” ethos, establishing a unified approach to how homes generate, manage, and use energy. A central focus of this alignment is shifting home energy management from isolated hardware add‑ons into a connected ecosystem, where smart energy functions operate as integrated components of the broader housing system.
